2012 saw us completing four projects – the Library Building in Clapham, Park Hill in Sheffield, the Shoal and Meridian Square in Stratford and the Fold in Sidcup. In addition, East Croydon Bridge is well and truly “on site”.

Studio Egret West have designed a masterplan for the transformation of Khodynka Field (Khodynskoe Pole Airfield), Moscow’s oldest airport which closed in the 1990′s. Now a large and under utilised open space, OAO “Aviapark” (a subsidiary of the City of Moscow) have appointed Studio Egret West to prepare a mixed used framework for its future.

Last night, the London Borough of Hillingdon resolved to grant planning consent for the comprehensive transformation of The Old Vinyl Factory on Blyth Road in Hayes. Over the next few months, when we have concluded formalities, we will be starting on our mission to bring 4,000 jobs, up to 650 homes and a whole new life to an area of London that badly needs it.

We are pleased to hear that visitors to the Clapham Library have increased by 250 per cent since its move to modern premises. The library had seen over 35,000 people using it during each of the first three months since the reopening, triple the number for the same period last year.
The building is part of the £80 million Clapham One regeneration scheme working to improve leisure facilities in the area. Continue reading the full story.
